First and foremost, if you currently count yourself among the over 4 million volunteers involved with the Relay for Life (Relay), then I congratulate you for being a Relayer and taking such an active role in fighting against this horrific disease we call cancer.
My name is Patrick (Pat) LeVardi and I am the Founder of TheCandleFundriasers.com and a Relayer myself. While we most likely haven't met, I feel particularly connected with you thanks to our mutual membership in what I consider one of the most influential, passionate, and committed groups of like minded people in the world!
The incredible passion and commitment shared by Relayers nationwide is awe inspiring. The thousands of Relayers that come together at each of the over 5,000 local Relay's (you read that right, over 5,000 Relay's in the US every year) share 24hrs. of UNBELIEVABLE spirit and celebration while making a tremendous difference in the fight against cancer with their contributions (over 3 billion dollars raised since the first Relay in 1986).
How Relay for Life Changed Me
I can say with absolute certainty that being a Relayer is a life altering experience in the most positive way. I participated in my very first Relay in 2010 and served as the Activities Chair for the Greater Hazleton, PA event. While ultimate victory will be measured by a cure or cures for the many different types of cancer, we can take great pride in knowing that as Relayers we have and will continue to push closer and closer to victory. Thanks to all Relayers, the word "Survivor" when used in reference to cancer is becoming one that is much more frequently used.
In fact, the survival rates in the past 25 years (since the first Relay took place in Tacoma, WA) have increased from approximately 50% to 68% largely due to the efforts of the American Cancer Society (ACS). Well, you do know who are the primary Fundraisers for the ACS, correct? You and all of our fellow Relayers!
What most first time Relayers don't understand, until they experience their first Relay for Life event, is that the Planning, Fundraising, and Execution that leads to that single 24 hour period (held just once a year), goes on year round. The fight never, ever, ends and Relayers almost never rest, but the results and rewards are fantastic. Relayers have provided greatly needed funds and advocacy to the fight against cancer and in doing so have changed the lives of millions of others who have in some way been affected by the disease.

By providing you with simple, no hassle, and profitable Relay for Life Fundraisers. We require no up-front purchase of inventory (candles). Our Fundraisers include the cost of all product and shipping (there are no hidden additional costs). You get all materials necessary (brochures and order forms) to generate orders. Your candle orders are delivered pre-sorted by participant, and you can make profits of $5 to $9 per candle sold (your choice).

*Our candle manufacturer has a Domestic US purchase policy in place and only purchases imported ingredients when there is absolutely no US based provider available. To date, this has only become necessary for an extremely small percentage of scents used. We can boast with confidence that upwards of 95% of our ingredients are produced in the US.
