- How do I
get started?
Simply fill out our Fundraiser Application and submit it.
For your ease, the application can be completed
here on-line. You can also fill
out the application included in your information packet and
either email it to us at
cs@TheCandleFundraisers.com
or mail
it to us. All your fundraising materials will be shipped at
no charge once the form is received!
- What are
the costs associated with your fundraisers?
We will supply all materials you need to get started with
your fundraiser and deliver your orders pre-sorted when it
is completed at no additional cost. You simply submit
payment for the candles at order time at the cost agreed to
at application acceptance. There are no out-of-pocket
expenses!
- What size
candles do you have and at what price?
Our 16oz. Jar candles sell to you at the price of $11.00.,
which includes the cost of all fundraising materials,
pre-sorting of orders, and delivery of candles to your
organization.
- What
types of payments do you accept?
We accept payments via PayPal for your convenience as well
as checks or money orders.
- How much
profit can my organization make?
You decide on the retail price you will sell the candles to
your customers ($16, $17, $18, $19, or $20), generating
profits from $5 to $9 each. You decide on the price that
applies to your particular market and how much you profit
within these pricing guidelines.
- Are any
minimum purchases required?
There is just a small minimum of 24 candles that must be
sold with our candle fundraisers.
- What
supplies do I receive?
You will receive sales brochures and order forms for all
your participants along with a pre-addressed return envelope
for order and payment submission if you choose to do so by
mail.
- Can any
size group participate?
Yes! Any size group or individual can participate in our
fundraisers.
- Do we
have to be a non-profit group to use your fundraisers?
No! Any "legally founded" group or individual needing to
raise funds for a worthy cause may inquire about our
fundraiser. For-profit groups in PA will have to pay State
sales tax which will be added to the $11 per candle cost.
For-profit organizations in all other States will be
responsible for ensuring they meet their particular State's
tax requirements on their proceeds.
- Are
orders pre-sorted?
Yes! Candle orders will be pre-sorted per participant.
- Am I
required to purchase candles in advance?
No! You will only pay for the candles you pre-sell through
your participants and then order. There is no need to keep
inventory on hand and you are not left with anything that
you cannot sell!
- When do I
pay for my candles?
Payment in full is made at the time of your order
submission.
- How long
does it take to get my candles?
Your orders will be shipped within 2 weeks after payment is
received and processed. It is important to understand that
all checks must clear bank authorization prior to orders
being shipped. Payment via PayPal is recommended for fast
and secure order completion and shipment.
- When is
the best time to hold a fundraiser?
Anytime your organization has fully committed to raising
funds. Our candles make great gifts or provide personal
pleasure every day all year round! Surveys conducted by the
candle industry report that approximately 35% of candle
sales occur during the Christmas/Holiday season.
Non-seasonal business accounts for approximately 65% of
candle sales*.

- Do

Yes! Surveys done by the NCA indicate that candles are
used in 7 out of 10 US households. Candle purchasers view
candles as appropriate gifts for the holidays (76%), as
house warming gifts (74%), as hostess/dinner party gifts
(66%), as thank you gifts (61%), and as adult birthday gifts
(58%) to name just some of the many gift giving reasons.
